If you want a tough runner’s waterproof that can also cater for more traditional mountain recreation, the Charge Jacket combines movement-driven design with thicker, more durable fabrics.
While Rab's Charge Jacket has the style and features of a premium mountain running garment, its streamlined design enables it to use heavier, more durable fabrics without inflating the overall weight. In fact, with its tough 40D nylon outer face, you can wear the Charge Jacket just as easily with heavier hiking backpacks as with low-profile mountain running packs. And despite its extra utility, the fact that it uses the same highly breathable membrane and stretch fabric as our lightest mountain running shells means that, when you decide to pick up the pace, it retains all the fitted, body-responsive movement you could want.
Key mountain running features include a semi-elasticated hood with stiffened peak, half micro elasticated hem and cuffs and a separate stuff sack to help keep the weight and complication to an absolute minimum.
