General
One of Mountain Equipment's lightest mountain packs, the Orcus excels on the fastest moving Alpine days as well as being an ideal choice for carrying essentials on the steepest lines. M-series polyamide fabrics are extremely abrasion and water resistant thanks to the DWR coating and PU backer, and the moulded EVA foam shoulder straps and back panel keep heavy loads in a comfortable and stable position. The toll-top closure provides a weather-proof seal and is also secured by a rope-carry strap with metal buckle. Various other attachment points include daisy-chain webbing and ice-axe retainers, as well as a shock-cord system.
