General
The Women's Alta Bunion GTX Boot from Hanwag has been designed with great consideration to the Hallux Valgus condition. A sturdy and supportive walking boot that offers more space for the big toe joint, there are also no seams at this location on the inside of the boot that might be a cause for concern or further irritation.
The lining of the boot is made with super soft chrome-free leather to ensure comfort and provide a healthy environment for your foot while the GoreTex membrane offers excellent wet weather protection. The outer is made with waxed nubuck for durability and support, this also provides a degree of weather protection but predominantly ensures excellent breathability.
The deep pull lacing of the boot helps to make sure you have a great fit at the heel and clamping lace hooks help you lace up securely, precisely and quickly. Shock absorbers at the heel and ball of the foot help reduce foot fatigue on long days and the flex zone at the heel helps to reduce any chance of rubbing.
