General

The Arbor Element Camber is a refined, precise all-mountain snowboard that is designed to be a true quiver-killer. A superb combination of technology and research has resulted in the best Element Camber Arbor have ever made. A poppy, crisp and responsive ride from the piste to the park and everything in between, the Element Camber is a directional-twin all-mountain snowboard that is designed, developed and produced with sustainability and performance as the key focuses.

This particular version of the Element features Arbor's unique Parabolic camber profile. A full-length, traditional camber profile that features a 3 degree uprise on the contact points to reduce edge-catch and increase float in powder all while maintaining the pop, edge-hold and response of a standard camber board. This makes for a forgiving ride when you're cruising along with friends while still giving you the responsive and aggressive feeling you want when travelling at speed.

This stability and edge-hold is continued with Arbor's unique sidecut profile. By utilising a blend of three radial sidecuts that are typically formed down to smooth edge, Arbor have utilised these to transform the blends into expanded heel and toe contact points allowing a more direct contact with the snow while also minimising heel and toe drag when you're laying down a tighter turn or carve. This creates superb edge hold in icy, harder packed conditions allowing you to ride at speed with aggression and confidence.

Perhaps the most impressive aspects of the updated Element Camber are the lengths which Arbor have gone to to achieve as sustainable construction as possible. From the utilisation of FSC certified Paulownia wood for the core, recycled ABS sidewalls to the recycled steel edges, careful steps have been made to reduce environmental impact without sacrificing durability or the quality of the ride in the process.

About this brand

We launched Arbor in 1995 with our snowboard line, and a dialog about our focus on sustainability, and its importance to snowboarding. We were the first to replace the standard plastic top, with responsibly sourced wood veneer, significantly improving performance. We pioneered the use of bamboo, bio-plastic, and other recycled, reclaimed, and renewable alternatives. For over two decades we’ve turned rider-oriented design into the highest quality, hand-crafted snowboarding products possible, while drastically minimizing our impact on the planet.
