HOW TO SIZE KIDS' SNOWBOARDS
Height and weight are both important in choosing the correct size snowboard for kids, but as a general rule, kid’s boards should hit somewhere between their chin and chest, but like adult boards, the most suitable length depends on a few other factors.

Finding the correct size snowboard
Using the chart below:
- Measure your child’s height and weight.
- Look at their height on the chart below.
- If they fall between two heights listed, look at their weight. If they are light for their height they’ll ride better with a shorter snowboard, if they are heavy for their height go for a longer board.
- This is only a rough guide and where possible, speak to an expert if you’re not sure as there could be beneficial reasons to size up or down.
Look towards the snowboard length column for the ideal board length.
Sizing down kids' snowboards
- They are light for their height
- They are a beginner or cautious
- They like to make short, quick turns on piste and prefer to go slower than faster
SIzing up kids' snowboards
- They are heavy for their height
- They like to ride fast, racing or on steeper terrain
